In September 2010 there will be a reorganization of work at the Lodz Władysław Reymont Airport Ltd. due to several flights being redirected from Chopin Airport to Lodz Airport Ltd..
Passengers travelling from/to Lodz in September are kindly asked to read the following information regarding introduced changes on particular days (below) at the Lodz Airport.
 

 

- Friday, 3rd of September, 2010 - first redirected flights handled from 10.30 p.m.
- Saturday, 4th of September 2010 – redirected flights handled 24 hours
- Sunday, 5th of September, 2010 - redirected flights handled 24 hours
- Monday, 6th of September, 2010 – last redirected flights handled up to 6 a.m.
- Friday, 10th of September, 2010 - first redirected flights handled from 10.30 p.m.
- Saturday, 11th of September, 2010 – redirected flights handled 24 hours
- Sunday, 12th of September, 2010 – redirected flights handled 24 hours
- Friday, 17th of September, 2010 - first redirected flights handled from 10.30 p.m.
- Saturday, 18th of September, 2010 - redirected flights handled 24 hours
- Sunday, 19th of September, 2010 - last redirected flights handled up to 6 a.m.

ACCESS TO TERMINAL 2:
 

 

For safety reasons, all cars, except emergency and airport security vehicles, will be banned  in the area of the roundabout in front of Terminal 2 . Banning order also applies to touristic buses. Neither taxi nor city bus service will have standing in this area.

Passengers travelling to the Lodz Airport by car will be allowed to leave their vehicles on parking P1 and P2 (with 330 parking places) or on temporal parking P3 and P4 ( with extra 160 parking places). Passengers do not need to make previous reservation. Here the price list for parking service, applied for all parking equally.

Passengers arriving to the Lodz Airport by city bus service will be asked to disembark on the bus stop near Terminal 1 (T1) and walk to the Terminal 2 along the marked paths. Another bus stop will be arranged for passengers leaving the Lodz Airport by city bus services.  Map here will include localization of both bus stops.  Bus stop in front of Terminal 2 will be closed in these days.

Information Points of Tourist Agents  (distributing travel documents for charter flights), EXCEPT FOR TOURIST POINT HANDLING IZRAEL CHARTER FLIGHTS , will be located  in Terminal 1 (T1). Check-in procedures as well as luggage and security control take place still on Terminal 2 (T2) .

Touristic bus stops (for buses coming from/leaving to Warsaw) are located along the building site of Terminal 3. On the  map here you find their localization.

Taxi service will be located on the taxi bay near Terminal 1.
Taxi bay in front of Terminal 2 will be closed.

Temporal point of medical care service will be located in Terminal 2.

Around the whole area of Lodz Airport, there are set several information boards, presenting all traffic changes being valid within the following days: 3rd, 4th and 5th of September, 10th, 11th and 12th of September, 17th 18th and 19th of September, 2010.

Walkways leading passengers form parkings, city bus stops, touristic bus stops to the Terminal 1 (T1 – where you find Touris Agent’s Information Points and where you receive charter flights documents) have been marked on the pavement with green arrows. The way connecting Terminal 1 (T1) with Terminal 2 (T2 – there you go through check-in as well as luggage and security control) have been marked with red arrows.
