SkyUp connects Poland and Ukraine

Air connection between Ukraine and Poland becomes even more convenient. This spring, SkyUp Airlines plans to start Kyiv — Lodz — Kyiv and Lviv — Lodz — Lviv flights.

Flights to Kyiv from Lodz are scheduled on March 29, 2021. At first, they will be operated twice a week: every Monday and every Friday. From April 25, planes will depart four times a week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Lviv — Lodz — Lviv flights will start on April 30, 2021 and will be performed every Monday and Friday.

SkyUp Airlines in brief

SkyUp Airlines is a privately owned Ukrainian airline. The company operates according to the hybrid model performing charter flights and regular low-cost flights.

Scheduled for the summer 2021 flight programme includes 21 countries and more than 60 international destinations from Kyiv and the regions. The network of routes will go through Europe (the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, and classical Europe — Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, France, Czech Republic, Sweden, Denmark, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Albania, Turkey, Poland, Germany, Serbia, Netherlands, Slovakia), the Caucasus (Georgia, Armenia), and the Middle East (Israel, Jordan).

The fleet of the company contains 11 medium-range Boeing 737 aircrafts, the average age of which is 12 years. The company trains its own aviation personnel. Since March 2020, the company has been developing a cargo transportation business.

According to the State Aviation Administration, the air carrier is one of the five largest in Ukraine in terms of passenger traffic. In terms of route network growth rate during 2018-2019, SkyUp Airlines became one of the most dynamic airlines in Europe according to the latest Anker Report.
