The Black Sea resorts are one of the most favorite places for vacations for Polish people. Sandy and wide beaches, warm sea, good cuisine, and low prices - that's what attracts the most! In summer temperatures are not too high, so it creates favorable conditions for sightseeing and leisure.
Golden Sands, Albena, and Balchik are the most popular resorts located really close to Varna Airport. Polish people have such special feelings about these regions because they rested there in '70 and '80.
"Last year we tried to launch a route to Varna but, the COVID pandemic interrupted our plans. We were in touch with the carrier and we decided together to try again this year. A lot of experts say that June 2021 will be a watershed month during the pandemic and we decided to start with a new-old connection from the end of June. Voyage Air is the third new carrier in our airport this year. In February, Ukrainian airline SkyUp and Greek airline Lumiwings announced routes to Kyiv, Lviv, Forli, and Trapani." - says Robert Makowski, Head of Routes and Business Development Department of Lodz Airport.
"Launching the new regular connection to Varna completes our charter offer. We know that Bulgaria is a very popular destination among our passengers, especially these elderly ones. It is a favorite place of rest for seniors. Seniors will be vaccinated by June, and the vaccination will simplify making the decision to a holiday trip." - added Artur Fraj, Commercial Director of Lodz Airport
The aircraft of Voyage Air include Boeing 737-500 with 126 seats. Flights from Lodz will be once a week - on Tuesdays.
