Information regarding COVID-19 epidemic


In connection with emerging cases of COVID-19 coronavirus, we kindly inform you that Lodz Airport is in constant contact with sanitary services and other entities responsible for health safety (current list of countries where the virus was recorded are available at:,,

For the sake of your safety, we monitor the situation and respond to any recommendations and guidelines in the field of public health protection on an ongoing basis.

In the absence of a clear need, we recommend limiting the presence of bystanders in the terminal.

In order to verify the readiness of services and procedures, on 10 March 2020 we organized an extraordinary meeting of the Emergency Committee with the representatives from Regional Sanitary and Epidemiological Station, Border Guard, Police, Customs Office, Crisis Management Department of the Lodz city and State Fire Service. According to the procedures, appropriate measures are implemented to minimize the risk of the spread of infectious diseases. We gradually place additional dispensers with hand disinfectants on the airport terminal. Lodz Airport is prepared to respond in the event of epidemiological threats.

Passengers may be asked by cabin crew to fill out a Passenger Location Card.

At the same time, we would like to remind you of the basic preventive and diagnostic principles which will limit the spread of viruses:

    Frequent hand washing
    Apply appropriate protection principles when coughing or sneezing
    Keeping a safe distance - 1-1.5 m
    Avoiding touching your eyes, nose and mouth
    Avoiding staying in public places as much as possible
    Complying with all the recommendations of local authorities and medical services

If you have been in affected countries in the last 14 days and you have the symptoms contact immediately the sanitary-epidemiological station by phone or report to the infectious ward, where further medical procedure will be determined.

If you have had contact with a sick or coronavirus infected person, immediately contact the sanitary and epidemiological station.
